How to Add a Second Salesforce Org

aprity supports multi-org setups, allowing you to document multiple Salesforce orgs under a single account.

Prerequisites

  • Professional plan (up to 3 orgs) or Enterprise plan (unlimited orgs).
  • System Administrator access to the new Salesforce org.
  • A new activation code for the additional org.

Steps

  1. Install the aprity package in the new Salesforce org.

    • Use the installation URL provided by aprity (same managed package as your first org).
    • Install for all users or select specific profiles.
  2. Assign permission sets in the new org.

    • Assign Aprity_Admin to administrators.
    • Assign Aprity_User to documentation consumers.
  3. Register the new org.

    • Open the aprity app in the new Salesforce org.
    • Enter the activation code provided for this org.
    • Complete the registration flow.
  4. Verify the connection.

    • Navigate to the Generate tab in the new org.
    • Confirm that metadata types are detected.

Each Salesforce org requires its own activation code. Contact your aprity account representative or sales@aprity.ai to obtain additional codes.

Managing Multiple Orgs

  • Each org operates independently with its own scan history, feedback, and schedules.
  • Documentation is generated per org. There is no cross-org analysis.
  • Plan limits (scan quota, formats, features) apply equally to all connected orgs.

When connecting sandbox orgs alongside production, use separate activation codes for each. This ensures documentation is tracked independently.
