How to Change the Documentation Language

aprity supports generating documentation in six languages. This guide explains how to select your preferred language.

Steps

  1. Open the aprity app in Salesforce.
  2. Navigate to the Generate tab.
  3. Locate the Language dropdown.
  4. Select your preferred language from the list.
  5. Configure other scan options and click Generate.

The generated documentation -- including section headings, summaries, business descriptions, and AI-generated explanations -- will be in the selected language.

Salesforce API names (object names, field names, class names) always remain in their original form regardless of the selected language. Only descriptive and explanatory content is translated.

If your plan only supports English, the language dropdown will show English as the only option. Upgrade to Professional or Enterprise to access additional languages.

Changing Language for an Existing Scan

Language is set per scan. To generate documentation in a different language, run a new scan with the desired language selected. Previous scans retain their original language.

If your organization operates in multiple languages, run separate scans for each language. Each scan generates a complete documentation set in the chosen language.
