How to Organize the Documentation into Themes

aprity groups your business rules by the themes it detects in your org. You can add your own groupings — for example by project, team or regulation — and file any rule, object or page under them. Themes are shared with everyone in your organization and are kept from one analysis to the next.

File a rule under a theme

  1. Open an object page and go to its Rules & validations tab.
  2. In the Business rule register, click Manage themes to create your themes: type a name in New theme…, click Add, reorder or delete themes if needed, then click Save. Each theme needs a unique name.
  3. On a rule's row, click Classify and tick one or more themes.
  4. To see the register through your own themes, choose By client theme in Group rules by.

File a page or a block of content

  1. Hover over the item you are reading (a page, an object, an interface…). A tag icon appears next to it.
  2. Click it to open File under a theme.
  3. Tick an existing theme, or type a name in New theme… and click + to create it and file the item in one step.

A filled tag icon shows how many themes the item is filed under.

Browse your themes

Click Themes in the Documentation group of the portal's left navigation.

  1. Use Browse themes (or Search a theme…) to pick a theme.
  2. The page lists everything filed under it, grouped by kind: processes, objects, business rules, fields, external systems, and so on.

An item marked not in this version was filed earlier but does not exist in the documentation version you are reading — for example a rule removed from the org.
