How to Schedule Recurring Scans
aprity can automatically run scans on a recurring schedule to keep your documentation in sync with org changes.
Prerequisites
- Professional or Enterprise plan.
- Aprity_Admin permission set.
Steps
- Open the aprity app in Salesforce.
- Navigate to the Schedule tab.
- Select a recurrence interval:
- Every 1 day
- Every 7 days
- Every 14 days
- Every 30 days
- Set the hour and minute for the scan to run (in UTC).
- Click Activate to enable the schedule.
info
All scheduled times are in UTC. Convert your local time accordingly. For example, 9:00 AM EST is 14:00 UTC.
Interval Availability by Plan
| Plan | Available Intervals |
|---|---|
| Trial | Not available |
| Starter | Not available |
| Professional | 7, 14, 30 days |
| Enterprise | 1, 7, 14, 30 days |
Managing a Schedule
- Modify: Return to the Schedule tab and change the interval or time, then click Save.
- Pause: Click Deactivate to temporarily stop the schedule without deleting it.
- Resume: Click Activate to restart a paused schedule.
What Happens When a Scheduled Scan Runs
- aprity uses the same configuration as your most recent manual scan (formats, language, metadata scope).
- The scan appears in the Analyses tab like any manual scan.
- If the scan fails, it follows the same retry logic as manual scans.
warning
Scheduled scans count toward your plan's scan quota. Ensure your quota can accommodate the chosen frequency.
tip
Daily scans (Enterprise only) are ideal for orgs with frequent deployments. For most orgs, weekly or bi-weekly scans provide a good balance between freshness and resource usage.
