Trial Guide
The aprity Trial plan gives you 14 days to evaluate the platform with real data from your Salesforce org. This guide covers what is included, what the limits are, and what happens when the trial ends.
What is included
The Trial plan provides access to core aprity features so you can assess the quality of generated documentation:
- AI-powered analysis -- Full metadata extraction and dependency analysis.
- Global Analysis -- Cross-object analysis showing how your org's components interact.
- Multiple output formats -- Markdown, HTML, and PDF.
- All 6 languages -- Generate documentation in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese.
- On-Demand Documentation -- Up to 3 ad-hoc documentation requests per month.

The 4-scan limit is for the entire trial period, not per week. Plan your scans accordingly to get the most value from your evaluation.
Getting the most from your trial

Start with a representative org. Choose a Salesforce org (or sandbox) that contains the types of customizations you want documented -- objects, flows, validation rules, triggers, and Apex classes.

Choose 3 key objects. Since the trial limits documented objects to 3, pick objects that are central to your business processes (e.g., Account, Opportunity, or a heavily customized object).

Try different languages. If your team is multilingual, run one scan in English and another in a different language to evaluate translation quality.

Review the dependency graph. The Global Analysis feature shows cross-object dependencies. Use this to understand how the documentation connects related components.
What happens at expiration
When your 14-day trial ends:
- Scan access stops. You can no longer run new scans.
- Existing documentation remains accessible for the 14-day retention period from when each scan was run.
- After the retention period, scan results and generated documentation are deleted.
- Your registration is preserved. If you upgrade later, you do not need to reinstall or reconfigure the Connected App.
You will receive email reminders at 5 days and 1 day before your trial expires.
How to upgrade
When you are ready to upgrade from the trial:
- In the aprity app, go to Settings > Subscription.
- Select the plan that fits your needs (see Plan Comparison).
- Complete the upgrade process.
Your new plan takes effect immediately. All features and limits from the new plan apply right away, and any remaining trial scans are replaced by your new plan's quota.
