Trial Guide
The aprity Trial gives you a time-limited evaluation window to assess the platform on a real Salesforce org before committing to a paid plan. This guide explains what the trial includes, how to get the most from it, and what happens when it ends.
What is included
The Trial mirrors the Intelligence feature surface so you can experience the complete platform end-to-end:
- AI-powered analysis -- full metadata extraction, dependency analysis, and narrative documentation.
- Global Analysis -- cross-object analysis showing how your org's components interact.
- Technical Analysis, Integration Inventory, Security Baseline -- the deeper analysis layers, all included.
- All 6 documentation languages -- English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese.
- Delivery via the web portal -- documentation is delivered through the aprity web portal; there are no downloadable files. Salesforce Knowledge and Confluence publishing are included.
- Assist agents -- On-Demand Docs, Help Agent, and Documentation Agent are all enabled, with monthly budgets sized for evaluation.
- Remote MCP Server -- connect AI clients (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT) with a trial tool-call quota.
- Agentforce integration -- enabled so you can validate the AI documentation hand-off.
The Intelligence features not included in the Trial are BYOLLM (bring your own LLM) and the Configuration Audit.
Trial limits
The Trial is intentionally bounded in time and capacity to encourage focused evaluation rather than production use. Your current usage against these limits is visible from the Subscription tab in the aprity app once activated.
Trial limits:
- 14-day duration from activation.
- 4 scans total for the lifetime of the trial.
- 3 documented objects in total across the whole trial -- a lifetime cap shared by all your trial scans (not 3 per scan). It is the trial's key constraint, designed to push you toward representative objects rather than full-org coverage. You select them through an object picker, and trial output carries a watermark.
- A single connected Salesforce org.
- Scheduling disabled -- trial scans are launched manually.
- 1-month data retention.
- Monthly Assist agent budgets sized for evaluation: Help Agent 100 questions, Story Agent 10 credits, On-Demand Docs 10 queries, Remote MCP 500 tool-calls.
Getting the most from your trial

Start with a representative org. Choose a Salesforce org or sandbox that contains the customizations you want to evaluate -- objects, flows, validation rules, triggers, Apex classes.

Pick objects that matter. Because the trial caps documented objects to 3 across the whole trial, pick the ones that are central to your business processes (Account, Opportunity, or a heavily-customized custom object). The narrative quality is best evaluated on objects with real automation and real business rules.

Try multiple languages. If your team is multilingual, run one scan in English and another in your target language to evaluate translation quality.

Explore the Global Analysis output. It surfaces cross-object dependencies that single-object documentation cannot show.

Try the Assist agents. Open the Documentation Agent and Help Agent tabs in the aprity app to see how they ground their answers in your scan data.
What happens when the trial ends
When your 14-day trial expires:
- Scanning stops. You can no longer launch new scans.
- Previously generated documentation remains viewable in the web portal within the 1-month retention window. Upgrade to keep generating and to extend retention.
- After the retention window, scan results and generated documentation are deleted. If you want to keep a copy of a backlog, export the StorySite Excel / CSV before this happens.
- Your registration is preserved. If you upgrade later, you do not need to reinstall the managed package or reconfigure the Connected App.
You will receive email reminders before your trial expires so you can plan accordingly.
How to upgrade
When you are ready to move past the trial:
- In the aprity app, go to Subscription.
- Review the available plans (see Plan Comparison).
- Contact sales@aprity.ai to discuss the right plan for your team. See Upgrade Paths for what changes when you upgrade.
Your new plan takes effect immediately, and any data generated during the trial remains accessible under the new plan's retention policy.
