Missing Tabs or Features
If certain aprity tabs, buttons, or features are not visible in your Salesforce org, this is typically caused by plan limitations or permission set assignments.
Check your current plan
aprity features are gated by your tenant's plan. Not all features are available on every plan.
| Feature | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| DOCX export | -- | Yes | Yes |
| Confluence publishing | -- | -- | Yes |
| Salesforce Knowledge export | -- | -- | Yes |
| Scheduled scans | -- | Yes | Yes |
| Execution Graph viewer | -- | -- | Yes |
| On-Demand Documentation | -- | Yes | Yes |
| BYOLLM | -- | -- | Yes |
| Global Analysis | -- | Yes | Yes |
If a feature is not available on your plan, the corresponding tab or button will not appear in the interface.
Solution: Check your plan details in the aprity app under Settings > Subscription. If you need a feature from a higher plan, see Upgrade Paths.
Verify permission set assignments
aprity ships with two permission sets in the managed package:
- aprity Admin -- Full access to all aprity features, configuration, and scan management.
- aprity User -- Read access to generated documentation and scan results.
If a user cannot see aprity tabs at all, they likely do not have either permission set assigned.
Solution:
- In Salesforce, go to Setup > Users > [select the user].
- Under Permission Set Assignments, click Edit Assignments.
- Add the appropriate aprity permission set (aprity Admin or aprity User).
- Save and have the user refresh their browser.
After assigning a permission set, the user may need to clear their browser cache or log out and back in for changes to take effect.
Check app visibility
If the aprity app itself is not visible in the App Launcher:
- Go to Setup > App Manager.
- Find the aprity app and click the dropdown arrow on the right.
- Select Edit and verify that the user's profile is included under User Profiles or Assigned Profiles.
Tab visibility in profiles
If specific tabs are missing but the app is visible:
- Go to Setup > Profiles > [user's profile].
- Under Tab Settings, find the aprity tabs.
- Set them to Default On or Available.
