Registration Fails

Registration is the first step after installing the aprity managed package. If registration fails, there are a few common causes and solutions.

Common causes

Invalid activation code

The activation code you entered does not match any code in the aprity system.

Solutions:

  • Double-check the activation code for typos. Codes are case-sensitive.
  • Ensure you are copying the full code without leading or trailing spaces.
  • Confirm the code was issued by aprity and has not expired.
tip

Activation codes are provided during your onboarding process or when you purchase a plan. If you do not have one, contact your account manager or reach out to support@aprity.ai.

Network connectivity issues

The registration request cannot reach the aprity backend service.

Solutions:

  • Verify that your Salesforce org can make outbound HTTPS calls to *.aprity.ai.
  • Check that the Remote Site Settings for aprity are active in your Salesforce org (Setup > Remote Site Settings).
  • If your org is behind a firewall or proxy, ensure that outbound traffic to api.aprity.ai on port 443 is allowed.

Organization already registered

Your Salesforce org has already been registered with aprity, either by you or another administrator.

Solutions:

  • Open the aprity app in your Salesforce org and check if it is already connected.
  • If another administrator registered the org, coordinate with them to share access.
  • If you need to re-register (for example, after a sandbox refresh), contact support@aprity.ai to reset the registration.
caution

Each Salesforce org can only be registered once per aprity tenant. Attempting to register the same org a second time will result in an error.

Still not working?

If none of the above resolves your issue:

  1. Note the exact error message displayed in the aprity app.
  2. Check the browser developer console for additional error details.
  3. Contact support at support@aprity.ai with your Org ID, the error message, and the steps you followed.
