Trial Expired
When your aprity trial period ends, scan functionality is disabled. This guide explains what to expect, how to upgrade, and what happens to your existing data.
What happens when the trial expires
When your trial expires:
- Scans are disabled. You cannot start new scans or retry failed scans.
- Existing documentation remains accessible. All documentation generated during the trial is still available for viewing in the portal.
- Connectors are paused. Publishing integrations such as Confluence publishing are suspended but not deleted. They will resume once you upgrade.
- Settings are preserved. Your org registration, Connected App configuration, and user assignments remain intact.
You will receive email reminders at 5 days and 1 day before your trial expires, giving you time to evaluate and plan your upgrade.
Trial grace period
After the trial expires, there is a grace period during which:
- Your configuration and generated documentation are fully preserved.
- You can still access the aprity app to review existing documentation.
- You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to restore full functionality.
After the grace period ends, your data may be scheduled for cleanup. Upgrade before this window closes to ensure continuity.
How to upgrade
- In the aprity Salesforce app, open the Subscription tab.
- Review the available plans (see Plan Comparison).
- Contact sales@aprity.ai to discuss the right plan for your team and receive your activation code.
- Enter the activation code in the Subscription tab and click Activate. Scan functionality is restored immediately.
What carries over to a paid plan
When you upgrade from a trial to a paid plan, everything is preserved:

There is no need to reinstall the managed package, re-register your org, or reconfigure the Connected App. The upgrade is seamless.

aprity offers two paid plans:
- Documentation -- Quality documentation of your org through the web portal. Full analysis depth, scheduled scans, 1 scan/week.
- Intelligence -- Everything in Documentation plus the full Assist agent suite (Help Agent, Story Agent, On-Demand Docs), Remote MCP Server, BYOLLM, and publishing integrations (Salesforce Knowledge, Confluence). 7 scans/week, unlimited data retention.

Frequently asked questions
Can I extend my trial?
Trial extensions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@aprity.ai with your Org ID and the reason for the extension request.
What if I do not upgrade before the grace period ends?
After the 14-day grace period, your scan data and generated documentation may be deleted. Your org registration is preserved, so if you upgrade later, you will not need to reinstall or reconfigure -- but you will need to run new scans.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or change plans at any time from the Subscription tab in the aprity app.
